Ōno (大野, Ōno) is a non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo.

He is a featherweight boxer who was Hayami Ryūichi's third opponent.


Ōno fought against Hayami Ryūichi as his third opponent. Ōno fell four times before losing against Hayami's short uppercut to Shotgun combination in the third round.

Ōno has black hair in a sleek pompadour style and black eyes. In the ring, he wears turquoise boxing shorts and shoes.
