Alex getting defeated by Itagaki.
Alex had an upcoming match against Manabu Itagaki as the opening match for Mamoru Takamura's second WBC middleweight title defence match against Rickey Mouse. When Alex's match against Itagaki arrived, he went to the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. When the match began, Alex attacked aggressively with a one-two, however, he missed his left, and had his right countered with repeated jabs, making Alex go down. The referee ended the match, resulting in Alex's loss.
