Ana (アナ, Ana)[1] is a ringside interviewer at multiple venues in Japan who interviews the winning boxer after their matches, which usually takes place after their title match.

Rusted Blade Arc[]

At the Kōrakuen Hall, after OPBF featherweight champion Ichirō Miyata defended his title for the fifth time against challenger Choi Jong-bong, Ana tried to interview Miyata, however, Miyata left the ring without a word. She instead told everyone to stay tuned for details on the next event presented by Dynamite Glove.
Battle of the Beasts Arc[]

At the Yokohama Arena, after WBC middleweight world champion Mamoru Takamura defeated WBA middleweight world champion Richard Bison, Ana asked Takamura for a word about the match. However, Takamura started to give her a hard time instead, and put her on the defensive. When Takamura finally decided to talk, he started yelling at the crowd instead, which resulted in the crowd throwing trash at him.
Seeking Heights Arc[]

At the Kōrakuen Hall, after Miyata defeated Luisito Ico for his seventh OPBF featherweight title defence, she congratulated him on his win. However, during the interview Miyata gave her short and uninteresting answers, making her feel awkward. Later, at the Kōrakuen Hall, after Shinobu Iga defeated JBC lightweight champion Ōshima Sōshi, she tried to interview Iga, but Kurita Baron took over the mic instead to boast about himself. When Ana tried to get Iga talk, Baron told her no, since Iga doesn't talk a lot and mentioned he does all the talking for Iga. He added that their goal was not just the JBC belt, they wanted much more. When Ana asked about a world title, Baron agreed as he handed the mic back to her. He mentioned that he got an ideal image of a boxer, and he was going to train Iga into that ideal to take the world title. After the reporter heard that, she ended the interview, even though Baron wanted to continue to talk more.
10 Months in the Making Arc[]

At the Kōrakuen Hall, after Takamura defeated Keith Lycaon in a WBC and WBA middleweight title defence, Ana asked Takamura if he had any comment after congratulating him for the unified title defence. Takamura made fun of Ippo Makunouchi for losing to Antonio Guevara instead, making the crowd angry as they threw trash at him.
Part III[]
Second Step Arc[]

At the Kōrakuen Hall, after Kyōsuke Imai won his second JBC featherweight title defence, she congratulated him and mentioned that he was leading the charge for Japanese boxing, and asked what his plans for the future were. Imai mentioned he doesn't have concrete plan, but once he set his eyes on a world ranking, he will have to take on two Japanese boxers in particular. When Ana asked about challenging Takeshi Sendō and Miyata, Imai mentioned that the person he most wanted to fight was Ippo.

At the Kōrakuen Hall, after Ryō Mashiba defended his OPBF lightweight title for the second time against Iga, Ana interviewed Mashiba. During the interview, her mic was knocked out of her hand by Mashiba after he got annoyed about her asking about who he wants to fight next and if he is aiming for the world. Ana asked about what the rumoured "three weaknesses" were, commenting that from an outsider's perspective, that they did not learn about it as it was an overwhelming victory, wondering if he overcame them. After Mashiba left the ring before the interview finished, she asked Mashiba's coach about his future aspirations, ending the interview with the coach announcing that they would be relinquishing the OPBF belt and challenging the world.

At the Ryōgoku Kokugikan, after Takamura defended his WBC and WBA middleweight titles against Michael Goat, Ana interviewed Takamura. Since she noticed Takamura having trouble in the first round against Goat's left, she asked him what went through his mind during the match. Takamura answered that he was sorry that he was too strong, and announced to everyone that he will be moving to the super middleweight class.
Grim Reaper to the World Arc[]
After Mashiba defeated Juan García in a world title preliminary match, Ana tried to interview him, however, Mashiba grabbed the microphone from her hand and used it to yell at Ippo for being too close to Kumi Mashiba.
