Bonchai Chuwatana (ボンチャイ・チュワタナ, Bonchai Chuwatana, TH: บรชัย ชูวัฒนา) is a non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo.
He is a middleweight professional boxer from Thailand who fought against Mamoru Takamura.

As the Japanese boxer Mamoru Takamura was feared in his own country, Bonchai was requested to fight against him in a main event non-title match at the Kōrakuen Hall. When the match between Bonchai and Takamura began, he was defeated by knockout in the third round.
