Summary[]
Elliott has gone down, making Dankichi, Ippo, and Sendō celebrate. Eagle stands, thinking that what Volg did was a dangerous and complex decoy, applauding him. Volg thinks that it was Dankichi's idea to telegraph the motion and that he couldn't have done it alone. His eyes are tired, however, he wants to see himself become the world champion. Dankichi and Sendō notices that the referee is doing a long count, counting to ten longer than ten seconds on purpose. Volg is shocked as he sees the referee helping the unconscious Elliott up. Dankichi is held back by the rookie trainers as he tries to get in the ring as he is furious at the referee. Elliott's manager is pleased, thinking that the precautions he took has paid off. Sendō wishes he went to the venue in person to tear up everyone involved in this. Ippo is in disbelief that something like this is allowed to happen. The referee tells Elliott to make a fighting pose.
