Summary[]
Alfredo tracks where Ippo is moving, and, when Ippo begins throwing the first left hook of the Dempsey Roll, Alfredo begins to throw a punch as well. At first, Ippo thinks Alfredo is trying to do the Dempsey Break, however, Kamogawa, Miyata, and Sendō realise that Alfredo is just rushing into a head-on collision. Ippo's left hook hits Alfredo's arm as he threw a left straight. Ippo throws a right hook next as Alfredo throws a right straight, but they both miss as Alfredo's arm hits Ippo's shoulder. Fujii notices Alfredo is throwing full swings, which Mari thinks is unfathomable since Alfredo is ahead in points so he doesn't need to fight so offensively. Alfredo is sick with anger, as even though Ippo has power, toughness, and stamina, it is all he has and is like a boxer out of the stone age, planning to teach him that he can't take on the world.
