Kamogawa tells Ippo that Alfredo has taken serious damage and is clearly hurting, as well as some mental damage, so he advises to not let him recover and to bring everything he has got to him. Ippo asks if he should end it in the seventh round. Kamogawa answers that that is the plan. At Alfredo's corner, Alfredo wants to know how he got knocked down. Alfredo's coach is surprised how much damage Ippo did with one hit to the head. Alfredo's coach instructs Alfredo to keep using Mextli Mode, but to not forget what he has been looking for and chasing after: Quetzalcóatl, the Sun God. He reminds Alfredo that he is the one who has flown closet to the sun, Ricardo. Alfredo remembers when he was a child that he was always staring at the light in the dark alleys with fists clenched in his pockets while thinking how he always wanted to get to the light where Ricardo is.
