Summary[]
Returning from Osaka, Takamura tells Yagi how they had to cancel the plans of the previous night due to Ippo's painkillers wearing off. Kamogawa reminds them that once they get to Tokyo, they are all "dead". At his school, Ippo has graduated, and as noted by his teachers, and as opposed to the beginning, "he is very popular". Umezawa and Takemura and Matsuda request a photo with Ippo's fans. After taking pictures with his fans and classmates, Ippo walks with Umezawa, the latter wants to apologise for all the bullying, but is unable to say it. After Umezawa leaves, Ippo encounters Miyata, who tells him that he is leaving Japan. He is travelling to fight strong opponents, and will come back when the gap between Ippo and himself is gone. Hearing this, Ippo notes to himself that he has no time to rest, and is determined to keep working hard.
