Summary[]
After being hit by a body blow, Miyata's mouthpiece falls and he begins to fall. As Miyata falls, he remembers the time he did a dogeza to Ippo. When he did the dogeza, he hoped that one day their paths would cross again as long as they both kept fighting. However, their paths can no longer be crossed as Ippo is retired from the ring. He then remembers the time when Sendō told him not to wait for Ippo and to move on. Remembering this angers Miyata as he gets knocked back up and begins getting hit repeatedly by his opponent. Miyata is angered by the fact that Sendō, Mashiba, Volg, and Sawamura got to experience Ippo's punches as a pro boxer, unlike him. After being hit by a powerful body blow, he tells his opponent to do a better job.
