Summary[]
After running, Ippo shadowboxes, which amazes Taihei. Taihei expresses his amazement to Ippo, who realises that he is one the bullies that picked on Teru. Ippo asks why Taihei was waiting for him, which the latter responds with shadowboxing. Uninterested, Ippo begins to leave until he finds out that Taihei knows his name and former champion status. Ippo wonders how he knows, Taihei states that he asked around, then waited until Ippo arrives. Ippo begins to leave again, Taihei requests that Ippo teaches him how to box. As Ippo runs away, Taihei chases him, begging to be taught how to box until he falls over. Ippo stops and asks why not go to a gym, Taihei replies that a gym would just tell him to wait to be a pro, he wants to debut as soon as possible. Ippo states his disagreement about turning pro immediately, Taihei then finds out Ippo knows his name and gets mad at Teru.
