Summary[]
Takamura wakes up near the area where Ippo does roadwork with Taihei and Kintarō and attempts to scare him, however, Ippo ran too far ahead of his students, making Takamura only scare Taihei and Kintarō. As Ippo ran back over, Takamura asks him if he is fired up from seeing his friends have world title matches, which Ippo admitted that he is excited. Takamura asks if Ippo is jealous of them since he defeated them and should have been the one going where they're going instead, but Ippo declines, as he is even rooting for them. Hearing Ippo's answer, Takamura suddenly dashes as Ippo follows, keeping up with the world champion even when he went full speed. Takamura is shocked as he notices that Ippo is keeping up with him while wearing his weights. Taihei and Kintarō are left behind, surprised that they can't even see Ippo and Takamura.
