Summary[]
At the Kamogawa gym, Aoki explains to his gym mates how Rosario is known as the strongest in his weight class. Takamura comments how he doesn't like how Aoki is saying "his" weight class as if he is in the same league as the world champion. Aoki claims he is ranked third in the JBC, adding that it is a big deal, however, Takamura mocks him by telling Aoki to beat Rosario then, before adding that he can't since he doesn't have a world ranking, causing Aoki to apologise. Since Rosario's surname, "Rosario" (ロザリオ, Rozario) is spelt the same as "Rosary" in Japanese, Itagaki wonders if he carries a rosary with him. Ippo reveals Rosario's boxing record, style, and age to his gym mates. Aoki and Kimura asks Ippo about Rosario's three no contests and two losses, which Ippo explains that his opponents got too bloodied to continue after headbutting occurred. Ippo adds that Rosario is a southpaw in-fighter, which makes it easy for headbutting to happen, and when he watched the tapes, he couldn't tell if it was on accident or not. He doesn't want to think Rosario did it on purpose but he notes that Fujii called him the "the bad boy of Puerto Rico." In Puerto Rico, Rosario is inside a building pointing a gun outside the window after being annoyed by a dog's barking. Rosario's manager tells Rosario that he can't do that as there are people around, and if he fires a round, the police will arrive, reminding him that he is the world champion. Rosario tells him that he is being loud as well, aiming the gun at him and firing a shot. Rosario states that he missed, as the bullet landed on a picture of Mashiba.
