Summary[]
Kamogawa reminds Ippo that now that he's stopped Ozuma's combo, he can start exchanging blows. Ippo dodges a hook and Ozuma blocks a right. They perform two simultaneous exchanges and Ippo pretends it does not hurt, but Ozuma sees through it and lands a hit to Ippo's face. Ippo tries an uppercut, surprising Ozuma. Ozuma hits him with another hook, but Ippo stays standing as the crowd cheers. After another exchange, Ippo is dazed and against the ropes. Ozuma rushes in but Ippo snaps back into it and the exchanges continue. However, Ozuma finally clips Ippo's head with a hook and he falls once again. As the referee counts, Ippo's vision begins to fade. He suddenly notices Kamogawa yelling, and realising Ozuma is in pain, he struggles to get up at the count of nine.
