Summary[]
Takamura and Hawk rush towards each other and both fighter's fists collide with each other, creating a huge sound throughout the arena. Ippo notes that Takamura is using his "normal stance", Yagi tries to tell Kamogawa that he should stick with the left jabs in order to win by points, however Kamogawa states that there's something he wants his eyes to remember. Both fighters have their guard down, until Hawk breaks the silence with two huge swings and then a punch that Takamura blocks with his shoulder, but the force pushes him back. Takamura then throws an equally fast swing that hits Hawk's arm. Both fighters exchange rights, Takamura is the one standing the highest as he begins to throw a follow-up punch.
