Summary[]
Takamura points to his toes, stating that they are very important for a boxer, since to shift his body, he must rely on his toes. He explains that this is also the reason that Ippo can not keep up with the group. After that, Ippo and Kimura begin a training session involving tennis balls to improve Ippo's strength. Takamura and Kimura, who get rejected by girls, laugh at Aoki when he falls in deep waters, for trying to pick up girls. They mention that he does not know how to swim, and so Ippo jumps to his rescue. Aoki grabs on to Ippo, causing the latter a leg-cramp and leaving him no choice but to knock the frantic former out. Once Aoki regains consciousness, he goes after Ippo, for "almost killing him".
