Summary[]
At the train station, Nekota states that as Kamogawa defeated Anderson, he's going to rest at the mountains and get a dog. In the train, Nekota tells Yuki that he doesn't want sympathy for his symptoms if she comes with him. Kamogawa states that he will devote his life to fighting, Yuki tells him that she is staying with Nekota. Before Yuki leaves, Kamogawa tells her that like sunflowers, he will sow the seeds, and teach boxing with what he and Nekota learned, and if a boxer he taught became a world champion, he will report to her. As the train departs, Nekota tells Kamogawa that when they recover, to have a rematch. Back in the present time, Ippo and Aoki are moved by the story. Aoki is amazed how Kamogawa kept his promise, as Takamura is a world champion. Kamogawa believes that Takamura would've been world champion without his teachings, and thinks he's just a coach that has a world champion. As Ippo talks with Yuki, Nekota believes Ippo is the successor of Kamogawa's fists. As the snow has stopped Ippo, Aoki, and Kamogawa leaves Nekota's house.
