Summary[]
At Kōrakuen Hall, Itagaki wins his second match with a KO, winning for the first time in his career. Everyone was happy besides Takamura, who lost his bronze statue stock as Kamogawa ordered him to not sell anymore. As thanks to Ippo for sparring with him, Itagaki invites him to his house. The two arrive at the entrance of his home, which Ippo believed his house would fit his looks, but is worse than his home. Itagaki states that he hopes his fists can earn some income to make it easier for his family. Itagaki's little sister, Itagaki Nanako and Itagaki's mother tells Itagaki and Ippo to come in. Ippo sits down for dinner as Itagaki's father comes in. As everyone starts eating, Ippo is shocked as the Itagaki family start using puns. At the gym, Ippo tells Aoki and Kimura about the bad jokes that the Itagaki family has. Kimura says it is the ultimate comedy, Takamura then states that the word "ultimate" is reserved for him only and the family stepped over the line. Takamura then challenges Itagaki's father to a pun battle. When Takamura goes back to the gym, he can't contain his laughter after losing to a wig pun.
