Summary[]
Ippo begins his mitt practise with Kamogawa and, while displaying fast and powerful punches, he knocks Kamogawa over after hitting the mitt. Ippo claims to have heard an amazing sound, however no one else heard it. Takamura takes Kamogawa to the office for a conversation and asks Shinoda to take over the practise. Takamura asks if his hand is broken, but Kamogawa tells him that he barely avoided it. Kamogawa explains the pain as coming from the bone. Kamogawa confirms the punch to be Ippo's ultimate punch, something that is nearly impossible to repeat, and that it was the result of the training. At the Okinawa gym, Shimabukuro punches the sandbag for ten meters worth while holding his breath, before doing another twenty, while Ippo also punches a sandbag while holding his breath.
