Summary[]
Still in shock after being lifted in air by Shimabukuro, Ippo questions on what to do, however, Shimabukuro dashes towards him. Ippo tries to stop him with jabs, but Shimabukuro dodges and pushes Ippo to a corner. Ippo blocks a body blow and lands a liver blow. Shimabukuro dodges more jabs and throws a Gazelle Punch that destroys Ippo's Cross-Arm Block. Shimabukuro follows up with more punches to Ippo's guard until his lands a clean body blow. While blocking punches, Ippo wonders what to do, thinking that he trained himself to enjoy this match and does not want to continue protecting. Ippo pushes into Shimabukuro, with Kamogawa noting that the odds are now 50-50.
