Summary[]
Ippo continues attacking Shimabukuro's guard in the last twenty-five seconds. Fifteen seconds in, Shimabukuro launches an uppercut that misses, the referee then signals the end of round two. Shimabukuro looks at Ippo like he saw something before walking to his corner. At the corner, Shimabukuro tells his coach to look at how Ippo is sweating like a waterfall, and that his legs are now at the bottom of the sea, hoping to have his shoulders and eventually his head under the sea. From round three to round five, both fighters exchange punches at close range. At round five, Ippo lands an uppercut, and then begins to hit Shimabukuro's guard. When Ippo runs out of breath after punching Shimabukuro's guard, Shimabukuro lands a hook on Ippo. Kamogawa and Yagi then notices Ippo's face is turning purple from cyanosis.
