Summary[]
Ippo hangs to the rope as he is in shock that his Dempsey Roll is defeated. Shimabukuro walks towards Ippo, however, when he gets in range, he can not move as he is damaged from exchanging hits with the Dempsey Roll. Takamura notices how Shimabukuro's face is now purple from cyanosis, and how they are both now at the bottom of the sea. When round six ends, Ippo arrives at the corner and Kamogawa tells Ippo while it may be hard. his body can still move due to the training he did at the pool. Kamogawa advises him to take deep breaths to gather the oxygen from the cells. At Shimabukuro's corner, Shimabukuro begins to be able to move again, surprised that the Dempsey Roll would take that much out of him. Kamogawa informs Ippo that if he is reckless and throw big punches, the reserve tank will be gone instantly. Kamogawa tells him to relax. When both boxers get to the middle as round seven is about to begin, Shimabukuro gets angry when he sees Ippo smiling at him.
