Summary[]
Ippo arrives to the ring for his match against Sawamura. When the match begins, Ippo and Sawamura run pass each other and Sawamura stares at Ippo while leaning over. Sawamura dodges a left jab while looking to the side. Ippo forces Sawamura to look at him with his body facing toward him by grabbing his shoulder and turning him. Ippo hits Sawamura's guard with a right, causing his body to fly back and leaving him shocked. Ippo attacks Sawamura's guard until he gets him to the ropes and breaks his guard. Just as Ippo was about to hit the defenceless Sawamura, the latter makes the former fall by kicking the back of his foot, tripping him. The referee declares a slip, however, Sawamura still throws a right while Ippo is down. Ippo barely dodges, having the punch hit his shoulder. The referee declares a point deduction against Sawamura for breaking the rules.
