Summary[]
At the corner, Ippo doesn't know what to do about Sawamura's Flash counter, but Kamogawa tells him Sawamura's tactic consisting of fouls and Bullets that allows him to keep connecting the counters. Ippo is advised to dodge his left Bullets to distort Sawamura's sense of distance. Karil suggests for Sawamura to take his time on fighting Ippo and slowly beat him, as other boxers Ippo fought thought they had him only to be defeated later, however, Sawamura agreed to the suggestion only to let his meat tenderise for a good meal. The fourth round begins with Ippo in his Peek-a-Boo Style stance as he moves toward Sawamura while dodging and blocking his Bullets. Once Ippo gets close, Sawamura prepares his Flash counter, however, Ippo sends a right uppercut that barely misses, but the Flash also did not hit due to Sawamura not expecting the uppercut. Ippo quickly hits Sawamura with a liver blow and attempts to hit him with a left to the face, however, he gets countered with the Flash, and Sawamura retreats after landing it.
