Summary[]
Ippo stopped his Dempsey Roll, while Sawamura was in mid-swing to counter the technique. After Sawamura's punch was thrown, Ippo resumes his Dempsey Roll and counters Sawamura on the face. Sawamura goes down, and the audience is shocked. Miyata thinks how he had the same idea as Sawamura for the Dempsey Roll counter, predicting that he would also go down since he wouldn't have been able to counter the change in timing of the Dempsey Roll. Sawamura begins to get up.
