Summary

After getting hit, Sawamura retaliates, directly hitting Ippo's face, followed by a counter. Ippo knew from the beginning that to defeat Sawamura, he needs to use his Dempsey Roll. He motions the Dempsey Roll, and as he is about to throw the first hit, Sawamura prepares to counter it. Ippo stops, however, Sawamura predicts it, stopping his counter as well. Ippo begins moving again, as does Sawamura. Ippo dodges the counter and immediately begins to throw a punch.
