Summary

Miyata lands a Cross Counter after Medgoen threw a left straight, causing him to go down. When Medgoen gets up, Miyata throws another Cross Counter when Medgoen attacked, this time putting his left hand closer to his body just as Takamura taught him in the training camp. In Thailand, Maria is back in good health and asks Chana if Miyata is strong. Chana says that he is very strong and he has never seen a boxer throw a counter like him where it is like Miyata holds his opponent's life in his hands when he throws a punch. Maria claims that she doesn't care if he gets the champion belt, as she just wants him to come back home. Back in Japan Miyata lands the counter and downs Medgoen. The referee stops the match, resulting in Miyata's victory. Miyata is dissatisfied with how he threw the counter, however, his father insists to not rush things. As Medgoen is still down, Mr. Sakaguchi doesn't care about what happens to him, as he was able to see Miyata's greatest flaw during the match, wanting to begin his search for another boxer.
