Summary[]
After going trough harsh dodging and deflecting training for many days, Ippo's rhythm has improved. At the orders of Kamogawa, he attends Hayami's match against Kazuhito Yasukawa that night. After wishing Aoki good luck, Ippo goes to the stands where Hayami's cheering squad greets him as he enters (annoying Kimura and Takamura). Hayami's opponent, whose speed and technique are praised since his high school days, appear to have the upper hand, but eventually falls victim to the Shotgun and loses the fight. Ippo petrified by this, realises he needs to improve even more.
