Summary

Takamura vows to bring Kamogawa the belt, while the latter and Yagi are surprised that Takamura's cut stopped bleeding, and wonder if Takamura caused the bleeding to stop. Yagi remembers that a huge amount of adrenaline produced during a state of extreme excitement has been known to stop bleeding sometimes, but wonders what caused that for Takamura. Kamogawa tells Takamura claims he can't wait too long since he is pretty old. The eighth round begins, and Takamura and Eagle both head to the centre of the ring. David starts throwing punches, but Takamura is able to dodge them now that his vision is clear. Eagle lands a clean hit on him after stepping into his punch so it goes further. Eagle continues to fire away with accurate left punches. Takamura starts to get mad, and throws a punch but misses while Eagle continues to land lefts. Takamura's right eye starts to swell after taking so many jabs, where Takamura starting to lose visibility on that side. Eagle is able to land a few more clean hits, but Takamura is able to counter with an uppercut that grazes the champion. Eagle starts to lose his footing from the built up damage he has taken during the match. Takamura goes on the offensive, while Eagle puts up his guard. Takamura is able to start landing punches through Eagle's guard, but Eagle also lands punches on Takamura causing his legs to go weak too. They start a duel exchange, which causes their cuts to start bleeding again. Blood starts getting in Takamura's left eye, making it hard for him to see in both eyes.
