Summary

Takamura is now blind in both eyes, while Eagle takes advantage of it and attacks him. Takamura is forced to the ropes. Takamura knows Eagle is really strong, and can see a trace of light in his eyes, where he has to be careful against guys who look like that. He starts to understand how everyone who lost to Ippo felt, where those eyes that never give up can cause miracles to happen. Eagle lands a right straight with a lot of power behind it, and Takamura starts looking at the canvas as his body won't straighten up. He see Eagle's feet, and decides to fall toward him and take him down to the ground, causing a double down. The referee starts the count for both boxers. Eagle shows signs of getting up, and Takamura follows at the same time. They both stand, but show signs of being almost dead. They make their way toward the middle of the ring, but Takamura still has trouble seeing. Eagle throws a punch, which forces Takamura to the ropes. Takamura is able to Eagle's feet again, and throws punches in that direction that are able to hit Eagle. They continue to trade hits against each other. Eagle's coach notices Takamura's punches are getting weaker, where his power and sharpness are almost gone. He thinks if the exchange continues, Eagle should win. However, Eagle legs start to buckle, but he continues to trade punches. Eagle continues to show signs of legs shaking because Takamura's punches instinctively aim for people's vital spots. Eagle now knows why Bryan Hawk was so frightened of him, especially when Takamura can't even see him, yet he is still able to accurately land his punches on him. Takamura wishes he could see while fighting Eagle, but he is only able to see Eagle's feet, planning to do everything he can do.
