Summary

Everyone continues to celebrate Takamura's victory over the WBC middleweight world champion Eagle. Ippo heads toward the ring, while Miyata tells him to congratulate him for him. The audience continues to cheer Takamura on. In the waiting room, after the reporters left, Takamura mentions he doesn't feel like partying for a change. Kamogawa notes it is because Eagle was a strong opponent. Takamura nods, and decides to head home to sleep. Yagi tells him he almost forgot his champion belts, but Takamura tells him he doesn't need them. He adds that they only matter to him until he gets it, as once he gets them, then he doesn't need them anymore. He gives the belts to Kamogawa instead, which touches Kamogawa. Kamogawa agrees to sleep with them to honour Takamura. Yagi wonders if it is okay for Takamura to go home alone, but Kamogawa mentions there will people waiting outside for him that will watch over him. Kamogawa is moved at seeing what Takamura has done. Kamogawa thinks Takamura is the world's most filial son. In the hallway, Takamura shows signs of damage, where he feels like he is going to fall over. When Takamura gets outside, he meets with a crowd of people cheering him. Takamura yells at them for being too loud, but they mention everyone is happy and want to throw a victory party. After thinking about it, Takamura does too, but Ippo mentions to them that Kamogawa told him make sure Takamura walked home and get plenty of rest. Takamura tells him super humans don't need to rest, but Ippo tells him Kamogawa figured he would say that and to force Takamura to go home rest anyway, and to contact him if anything happens. Everyone somewhat agrees after thinking about it, after having a tough match. Takamura somewhat agrees after mentioning a spy among them, he might as well rest. Takamura mentions to Aoki and Kimura not to forget their promise, which confuses them. Everyone decides to follow Takamura home. At his place, Takamura asks them how long they plan on staying at there, and Ippo mentions when he falls asleep, he will go home, so he should try to ignore him. As Takamura tries to sleep, he yells at everyone, that it is hard for him to sleep when everyone is there stuffing the whole place up.
