Summary[]
Walking home with Imai, Itagaki asks who he thinks is stronger between Miyata and Randy, which Imai answers that it is Miyata, however, Itagaki disagrees from his experience of fighting Randy. Itagaki and Imai argues about how Imai thinks that being an out-boxer feels like a pain and Itagaki thinks that it is simple being an in-fighter. When Itagaki arrives to his house, he became annoyed as his parents invited Imai in for dinner. Itagaki and Nanako becomes annoyed as Imai brags about having problems with living in his big house and are shocked that Imai chimed in with his own puns with their parents. After dinner Itagaki walks Imai home and asks what Imai will do next, which Imai reveals that he would increase his strength the long way for the inevitable battle for the JBC featherweight title. Later, Ippo and Itagaki do roadwork together, and Ippo notices that Itagaki is going too fast. Itagaki claims that he finally has something to shoot for, so he is going full speed ahead and win the Class A Tournament. Ippo wonders who he himself will be fighting and what kind of match it will be.
