Summary[]
At the Kamogawa gym, the gym members notice Takamura struggling with his weight control as he was not sweating after roadwork. Takamura is sure he can win against any opponent, but points out Miyata, who is set up to go against Randy, is not the same. As Ippo voices his worries, Takamura stops him and reminds him that he was about to fight that same Miyata that was suffering from weight control. Takamura adds that it was all Ippo's fault due to Miyata staying in the weight class to fight Ippo and because he is a featherweight, he is fighting Randy. Seeing Ippo depressed, Takamura notes that Miyata doesn't blame Ippo for any part of it, and it was all Miyata's decision and the path he chose. The gym members notices that it is snowing outside.
