Summary[]
After Miyata has a bad dream about cheering with his mother for his father winning a match and then witnessing his father's defeat against Randy Boy Senior, Miyata does roadwork. He comes across a Prunus that hasn't blossomed, and remembers the memory of him, his father and mother standing under the cherry blossoms, which was his last memory of them having fun as a family, before his father's match against Randy's father. At the Kawahara gym, Miyata struggles with mitt training with his father, who is lifting his mitts high to try and get Miyata to move around more to help him in his weight control. The Kawahara coach and Kida are worried about Miyata's weight control, wondering if he will make it to the ring safely or be able to fight, and if he can, they wonder if he will make it out of the ring in one piece.
