Summary[]
As Aoki heads out for his match, Ippo stays with Kimura in the doctor's office. When Aoki's match against Ponsa Kureck begins, Aoki and Ponsa has an exchange in the middle of the ring until Aoki gets pushed back. Aoki proceeds to run away from Ponsa the entire ten rounds while looking for a chance to hit him. The chance never came and Aoki loses by decision, earning him a scolding from Shinoda. As Aoki sits next to Kimura in the doctor's office, Itagaki comments how they really are best friends as they both share a decision loss. In Miyata's room, Miyata's father believes that the atmosphere in the arena is indeed strange for Aoki and Kimura to lose to cannon fodder, wondering if what is inside the ring are storm clouds.
