Summary

After hitting Miyata with a body blow, Randy is shocked that Miyata showed no signs of pain and resumes his fast footwork. Miyata continues to attack at full speed while getting hit by multiple body blows. Sendō notes how Randy isn't risking missing when he gets close to Miyata, so he is aiming for body blows, as it is harder to dodge and it drains away Miyata's stamina. Takamura tells Kamogawa, Yagi, and Shinoda how Miyata's use of the Speed Hell is going to make his exhausted, and while he might feel fine now, he will suddenly be all tired out and unable to move, and the body blows will make it even worse. Kamogawa thinks that Randy must have decided to take the hits after he felt how light Miyata's punches are, measuring their severity and was still confident enough to take them while moving forward. After getting hit with another body blow, Miyata hits Randy's face, countering it. After Miyata counters another body blow after getting hit by it, Miyata's father realises that Miyata is unable to take the match to a decision, as his weight control steals the stamina that would be necessary to fight many rounds against an opponent like Randy. Kamogawa notes the one who is actually on the offensive is Miyata, who is trying to finish it in the first half using his strongest weapon: the counter, betting it all on the technique. Miyata thinks that Randy can hit his body all he wants and take his stamina as he never planned to take the match to the second half.
