Summary

At Miyata's corner, the referee asks the seconds if they want to forfeit due to Miyata's painful state. After Miyata's father declines the request, the referee states that he will have to stop the match if it gets too dangerous. Kida voices his concerns, but Miyata's father claims that the choice is his and his son's to make as a family, so for better or worse he will take responsibility. Miyata has to be lifted up off the chair by his father so that he can leave for round seven. Miyata's father wants to watch his son fight just like he watched him fight when he was young. As the seventh round begins, Randy switch stances while moving towards Miyata. Miyata throws upward jabs that misses while getting hit by Randy's lefts many times. Itagaki doesn't think it is too bad since Randy is only throwing single shots. Sendō thinks that Randy has no need to rush since Miyata is barely hanging on, so he is just waiting for an opening to finish him off. Sawamura doesn't think so, wondering if single shots is all Randy can attack with now and he isn't pouring the punches in because he doesn't have a chance to. Sawamura believes that to Randy, Miyata's upward jabs might not look like they are being thrown at random and look rather sharp. Itagaki claims that Miyata's stance is awkward, however, Sawamura points out that Sawamura is still trying hard to get in a position to avoid them. Sendō notes that even with that in mind, Sawamura is always hitting him with only a left.
