Trivia[]
- There is quite a bit of content that was cut out from Hajime no Ippo manga. The season covers about 16 volumes (Volume 45 to Volume 61) worth of content. Most noticeably, the anime cut out the training and weigh-in for the Iwao Shimabukuro match.
- The Post-War Arc is suppose to take place after the Bryan Hawk match, instead of David Eagle.
