 At the Ōtemae gym, a huge crowd gather as Ricardo fights his second opponent in his public sparring session. The Ōtemae coach tells Mari how honoured he is to have Ricardo use his gym. He notes how different of a level Ricardo is at compared to his gym members, so they can't use this as reference, but they are still watching in amazement. Mari notices that Miyata is watching the spar while in an obvious bad mood. As Ricardo's second sparring partner looked too hurt, Bill stops the spar and tells Ricardo that he doesn't need to get serious since it is only a maintenance check. Ricardo reveals to Bill how he met Sendō in the morning, noting how he looked like he was all done. Bill realises that that must be why Ricardo is acting serious, but warns him to not get injured. Bill calls up the third sparring partner, and Miyata enters the ring. Ricardo wonders if Miyata will wear any headgear, however, Miyata points out that Ricardo isn't wearing his either. Miyata feels as if he is being underestimated, since Ricardo must be tired from fighting two other people, his weight reduction making him hungry, as well as he isn't wearing any headgear.  Kamogawa almost loses, until Nekota gave him as much spirit he had in his fist when he came with Yuki. Kamogawa goes on the attack, but gets hit with Anderson's left numerous times and Dankichi is ready to throw in the towel to save him, and not to watch him die like that. Nekota says that if he throw in the towel, he is the one who will get killed, by Kamogawa. As the match goes, Miguel says in his mind, that Kamogawa has iron determination, just like his fists which as it appears they leave a mark on Anderson's both arms. Read more... |
