Ishino Boxing Gym (石野ボクシングジム, Ishino Bokushingu Jimu) is a boxing gym located in Osaka, Japan that is run by Ishino Coach. The Ishino gym is the Kamogawa Boxing Gym's sister gym.

Rocky of Naniwa[]
Ippo Makunouchi sparred with Komori to prepare for his match against Takeshi Sendō in the All Japan Rookie King Tournament. The sparred shown Ippo was not ready to use his now healed fist in a fight. Genji Kamogawa decided to withdraw from the fight, due to Ippo's condition, as he can not even hit the mitts properly.
Mamoru Takamura stopped Kamogawa and told a story about how he entered his fourth match with an injured wrist. He advised Ippo to do the same as he did; knock the opponent out with one punch when the bell rings before feeling any pain. Kamogawa told Ippo that it was a gamble that if missed, would mean defeat.
