Itō Jackal (ジャッカル伊藤, Jakkaru Itō) is a lightweight professional boxer that fought Masaru Aoki in the Class A Tournament twice.

History[]

Part I[]

Class A Tournament: White Fang Arc[]

Aoki vs Jackal

Jackal vs. Aoki.

Jackal entered the Class A Tournament and had Masaru Aoki as his opponent in the semi-finals. When the match began, Jackal was losing in points up to round four. Aoki threw his Frog Punch, but Jackal was able to counter it before he could throw it, knocking Aoki down. When Aoki got back up, Jackal was tricked into thinking Aoki was going to use the Frog Punch, however Aoki stopped the motion and Jackal was hit by a hook, causing Jackal to go down. After Jackal got up, the two began exchanging punches. Eventually, Jackal hit Aoki by a right hook that passed his guard, knocking Aoki down. With Aoki's legs unable to let him get up, Jackal won the match, progressing to the finals.

Part II[]

Chronos Arc[]

Jackal partook in the Class A Tournament once more, and had Aoki as his opponent again. When his match against Aoki arrived, he went to the Kōrakuen Hall. When the match began, he ended up losing by decision unlike the last time he fought him.

Appearance[]

Jackal has black shaved hair and forehead wrinkles. Mamoru Takamura noted that he had a "Yankee haircut". In the ring, he wears navy and light blue boxing shorts with the name "Omyama" on the name tag.

Etymology[]

  • Itō means "that one" (伊) (i) and "wisteria" (藤) ().
