Kōji Ōtomo (大友 晃司, Ōtomo Kōji) is a non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo. He is a featherweight professional boxer and former JBC featherweight champion that fought against Eiji Date in his sixth match where Kōji loses his champion title.
Background[]
At some point, Kōji became the JBC featherweight champion. He would later lose his title in a title defence against the challenger Eiji Date by knockout on the ninth round. Kōji's status beyond the match is unknown.
