Kahuna Pasta House is a semi-recurring location in Hajime no Ippo.
It is a chain restaurant in Tokyo, Japan, where Makunouchi Ippo took Mashiba Kumi to confess prior to his match with Sanada Kazuki.
Part I[]
First Step Arc[]
After losing the arm wrestling competition to Takamura Mamoru, he was being forced to confess to Mashiba Kumi. Ippo called up to Kumi and arranged for a Date. Later that night, Ippo took Kumi to the Pasta House.After eating, they found Wanpo waiting outside for them. As it began snowing, Kumi said they should go to the park and play with the dog.

A Passing Point Arc[]
After he heard from Miyata Ichirō that Takamura Mamoru might have a detached Retina, he took Mashiba Kumi to Pasta House. In order to learn more information about it, Ippo asked Kumi for some medical books about it. She labeled what he wanted to know. After reading it, she wondered if Ippo's eye was bothering him. She was worried Ippo wanted it for himself and got worried. Kumi wondered if one of Ippo's friends might have it since it can be a major problem among boxers. She asked if she should recommend a good doctor about it, but Ippo declined and asked her to keep it a secret.
Winner Takes All Arc[]
Prior to Ippo's match with Malcolm Gedo, in order to solve the mystery to Gedo's magic punch, Ippo asked Kumi while at Pasta House from a medical perspective if she known of anyone whose arm could extend and shrink back. Kumi didn't think so since it was not like people's joints are made of rubber, but she did know that some people could dislocate their joints easily, where if it was dislocated then it will extend further than it normally would. Ippo wondered if it is possible for someone one to do it regularly. Kumi thought someone might be capable of doing it, but the stress over time would become a chronic problem. If she known someone doing that, she would advice them personally to stop. She wondered why Ippo wanted to know, and Ippo mentioned he was going to see a "Magic Show" first hand and he was hoping to be able to dissect it before hand.
After Kumi heard that, she wanted to go too. Ippo told her it will be a Kōrakuen Hall, but the date had not been decided yet. Kumi ended up becoming disappoint when she learns Ippo was talking about boxing again. Ippo's been worried about it where he had trouble sleeping and waking up in the mornings from it.
