Tetsuya Kawaishi (川石 鉄矢, Kawaishi Tetsuya) is a former featherweight boxer from Araki Boxing Gym, and he fought in the East Japan Rookie King Tournament against Ryō Mashiba.

Rookie King Tournament: First Rounder Arc[]
Tetsuya entered the East Japan Rookie King Tournament and fought against Daisuke Kondō in the first round. Tetsuya won and moved to the second round. When he fought Ryō Mashiba in the second round, he lost to his Chopping Right, losing the tournament. Tetsuya later retired at an unknown date.

Etymology[]
- The name Tetsuya means "iron" (鉄) (tetsu) and "arrow" (矢) (ya).
- Tetsuya's surname Kawaishi means "river, stream" (川) (kawa) and "stone, volume measure" (石) (ishi).
