Masa Uehara (上原 正, Uehara Masa) is a non-recurring character in Hajime no Ippo. He is a featherweight professional boxer and former JBC featherweight champion that fought against Date Eiji in his seventeenth match where Masa loses his champion title.

At some point, Masa became the JBC featherweight champion. He would later lose his title in a title defence against the challenger Date Eiji by knockout on the seventh round. Masa's status beyond the match is unknown.
