Kureck had an upcoming match against Aoki Masaru. When the match arrived, Kureck travelled to Japan, and went to the Yokohama Arena. When the match began, Kureck and Aoki had a lengthy exchange that ended with Kureck sending Aoki back after hitting him with a powerful punch. Kureck's powerful blow made Aoki decide to run around the ring to wait for a chance to come up. Kureck chased Aoki while attacking for the rest of the match until it ended and went to a decision. Kureck won the decision, making him win the match.
