The press conference for the world title match between WBA world featherweight champion Ricardo Martínez and the challenger Takeshi Sendō took place at the Seagail Royal Hotel. During the press conference, Ricardo gave his comment, asking Sendō if he can expect anything from him. Sendō responded by glaring at him, leading Ricardo to believe it will be "that" kind of match. Ricardo and his group stayed at the hotel until the day of the match against Sendō arrived.
