Miyata shadowboxing.
Shadowboxing (シャドーボクシング, Shadōbokushingu) is a training exercise used in boxing. A boxer thinks of an imaginary "shadow" opponent to fight with and attacks using various punches while dodging imaginary punches. A boxer can have trouble against the imaginary opponent if they don't know their movements.[1] If a boxer is correctly doing shadowboxing, onlookers can see what they are fighting against.[2] Tatsuya Kimura listens to music during his shadowboxing to increase the tempo of the rhythm of his footwork.[3]
