The coach with Sisphar in his match against Ippo

The coach with Sisphar in his match against Ippo.

When Sisphar had a match against Makunouchi Ippo coming up, he and Sisphar arrived to Japan. He went to the Kōrakuen Hall for the weigh-in between Sisphar and Ippo. At the weigh-in, he wondered when Ippo will arrive, however, he was hiding behind his coach, Kamogawa Genji. causing him to laugh until reporter Īmura Mari informed him that Ippo is one of the most famous boxers in Japan. He went to the ring with Sisphar, since he wanted to go. When Sisphar claimed that he wanted to find an attack that would bring him closer to the Lord, he told him that with his skill, it would be easy to copy the punch that Miyata used against him, however Sisphar disagreed. The next day, he arrived to the Kōrakuen Hall to be Sisphar's chief second in his match against Ippo. During the first round when Sisphar made Ippo go down on the canvas, a slip was declared, which caused him to get angry as he thought it should have been a down, however, he saw that Sisphar's inner elbow hit Ippo when the announcer replayed the footage. After the first round, he told Sisphar that Ippo's spirit should be broken, advising for him to crush his body as well, however, Sisphar claimed that his spirit isn't broken, as he pulled his head forward into where Sisphar was about to hit him to avoid a direct hit, which caused Sisphar's inner elbow to hit him instead. After the second round, he was surprised that Ippo went for dual exchanges. Since he realised that Ippo keeps getting knocked back, making it hard for Sisphar to land a finishing blow, he told Sisphar that he needs to corner Ippo to finish him off.

After the third round, he mentioned to Sisphar how surprised he was to see Ippo having a Tornado Jolt similar to Sisphar's, and told him to not hesitate when Sisphar decided that he would have to not hold back and to take Ippo's future away because he hasn't given up on the world stage, as his scars prove. As the fourth round began, he was taken aback by Sisphar's words and expression, being pleased thankful to Ippo that Sisphar has regained his passion towards taking on the world stage while fighting Ippo. After Sisphar lost by knock out in the fourth round, he went in the ring to escort Sisphar out. Outside the venue, he was worried about Sisphar's head being fractured since he fell badly, however, Sisphar claimed that he has never felt better. He was disappointed and believed that there is no God above the ring when Sisphar revealed that he will retire. He believed that there may be a God above the ring after all after realising that a God must have told Sisphar that he was walking a path towards self-destruction, however, he also believed that the God that told Ippo to keep fighting must have a grim face.
