A Sunday punch is a boxer's signature knockout technique or pattern. It does not refer to any specific techniques, rather a general term used in boxing.
While most characters have their Sunday punch as their signature technique, some use orthodox boxing techniques as well, such as Jason Ozuma having the hook as his Sunday punch. Not all characters have Sunday punches, however, as they may knockout their opponent with any technique they see fit for the situation, such as Mamoru Takamura or Ricardo Martínez.
