Takeshi Ryūzaki (竜崎 武士, Ryūzaki Takeshi) is a junior lightweight professional boxer who has fought Kimura Tatsuya three times in his career.

Ryūzaki entered the Class A Tournament and his opponent for the semifinals was against Kimura Tatsuya. When the match began, Ryūzaki and Kimura fought until the end of round six where it went to decision. Since the decision was a draw, Ryūzaki and Kimura fought an extra round to determine the winner. Two minutes later, Ryūzaki made Kimura fall onto the canvas, winning the match and progressing to the finals.
He later fought and lost to Mashiba Ryō in the finals.
Part II[]
Chronos Arc[]
Ryūzaki partook in the Class A Tournament once more, and had Kimura as his opponent again. When his match against Kimura arrived, he went to the Kōrakuen Hall. When the match began, he ended up losing by decision unlike the last time he fought him.

Appearance[]
Ryūzaki has a short black afro, dark coloured eyes and a moustache. Has also has a minimal amount of chest hair. It is mentioned that his appearance looks similar to Yōkō Gushiken. In the ring, he wears a yellow, black, and dark green boxing shorts.
Etymology[]
- The name Takeshi means "samurai, warrior" (武士).
- Takeshi's surname Ryūzaki means "dragon" (竜) (ryū) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki/zaki).
Trivia[]
- Ryūzaki's appearance is based on Yōkō Gushiken, a former WBA flyweight world champion.
- Although not directly stated, Ryūzaki fought and lost to Mashiba Ryō in the Class A Tournament finals, since Mashiba fought in same tournament and won, making him go to the Champion Carnival and fight against the champion.
